Bell Race Star Flex DLX Motorcycle Helmet.

Bell Race Star Flex DLX Motorcycle Helmet is the newest iteration of Bell’s class-leading Race Star line of helmets. Designed for street riders whose heart lives at the track, it is 10% lighter than its predecessor with new features including an improved fit and an included Bell ProTint face shield (U.S. only).

On the outside Bell’s 3K Carbon Fiber shell delivers the aerodynamic performance, look, and feel of a true race helmet. Just below that surface, for impact absorption you’ll find Bell’s Flex Energy Management Technology, a three-layer impact liner which manages impact energy from three potential scenarios: low, mid and high-speed. The shell comes in 5 different sizes with 6 impact liner sizes for a near-custom fit.

On the inside there is Bell’s removable, washable, quick-drying, anti-bacterial liner, to help you keep things clean and fresh. Magnefusion Magnetic Cheekpads make for quick and easy pad removal and re-installation for washing, in addition to enabling easy removal by emergency responders first before removing the helmet.

The Panovision viewport provides additional vertical and lateral visibility over more traditional viewports. And new to the Race Star Flex DLX is the included Panovision ProTint Photochromic face shield (USA only). ProTint shields are activated by UV light to adapt to changing light conditions. They darken when exposed to bright sunlight, lighten when in a darker environment to help your eyes adjust to riding conditions.

(Outside the USA the Race Star Flex DLX comes with an installed Panovision Pinlock Clear shield and an additional Panovision Dark Smoke Pinlock with Tear-Off Posts shield.)
