Neiko External Star Torx Socket Set is a 14-piece set of external star Torx sockets (Female E-Torx) for use with external (male) star Torx fasteners. Made for 1/4″, 3/8″, and 1/2″ drive hand-wrenches and ratchet handles, the lobular star and square drive design grips the flat sides of fasteners rather than the corners to prevent stripping and rounding. Excellent for high-torque applications.

Neiko External Star Torx Plus Socket Set is a similar 10-piece set of Torx-Plus external star sockets (Female EP-Torx). Torx-Plus is essentially Torx v2.0. It was developed to improve assembly line performance by reducing screw misalignment (compared to Torx v1.0) and improved high-torque transmission.

Neiko sockets are forged from heat-treated S2 steel alloy for superior hardness, and finished in durable mirror chrome plate to prevent rust and corrosion. All bits are machined for accurate size and feature chamfered bit ends for smooth insertion into fasteners and protection from from damaged edges.

Size markings are laser etched on to each socket in high-contrast for easy reading.

Comes in a sturdy hardshell plastic case for easy organization, storage, and transport.
