Permatex High Temperature Threadlocker, Red Formula, is a high-temperature/high-strength threadlocker for high-stress applications. Use it to prevent bolts and press fits from loosening due to vibration, shock, and heat. This red high-temperature formula works at up to 450ºF while remaining removable with heat and hand tools.
Threadlocker works by filling the space between threaded metal parts where it cures to form a tough adhesive bond and seal. It also seals the threads against leakage, helping to prevent rust and corrosion.
Ideal for 10mm to 25mm (.375″ to 1″) fasteners.
Use wherever you absolutely, positively, do not want a screw or bolt to loosen.
