Permatex Surface Insensitive Threadlocker, Blue Formula, is a medium to high strength threadlocker for general-purpose applications. Prevents loosening due to vibration even where screws, bolts, or fasteners have a slight oil film. Easily removable with hand tools.
Threadlocker works by filling the space between threaded metal parts where it cures to form a tough adhesive bond and seal. It also seals the threads against leakage, helping to prevent rust and corrosion.
Ideal for 6mm to 20mm (1/4″ to 3/4″) fasteners.
Use anytime you want to secure a screw or bolt from unintended loosening.
